Mark Albert Olson
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mark Olson is the founder of Landstar and brings high-level organizational, strategic and experience-based leadership to the company. He has an oversight role, lending support and direction to Landstar's projects and overall growth strategy. Mark is directly involved in all of Landstar's development projects.
He was instrumental in the creation of the Share Equity partnership structure that provides valuable incentives to joint venture parties. The Share Equity structure along with his flourishing development history has earned Mark a successful reputation.
Mark has sat on the board of many community volunteer programs including the United Way, University of Winnipeg, City of Winnipeg and the Optimist Club of Assiniboia. His involvement in these volunteer programs spawns from his belief in giving back to his community.
Kevin Graham Olson
Vice President
Kevin Olson joined Landstar in 2006 as the Vice President. He is responsible for the composition, organization and submission of request for proposals, new project identification, and the expansion of corporate relationships. Kevin's qualities compliment the corporation with his analytical, creative and organized traits.
His professional interests are focused on growing Landstar's real estate portfolio in all asset classes while balancing the corresponding corporate responsibilities. Sustainable construction is also a priority; Kevin fully advocates the utilization of environmentally friendly construction materials and methods in order to minimize Landstar's impact on the environment.
Kevin's primary real estate development background has been grown from his college business training, on-the-job experience and his own research and study of the industry's extensive particulars. He is a graduate of the Red River College — Business Administration course. He has completed and volunteered for the internationally recognized Dale Carnegie Human Relation and Effective Communications course. Kevin is a member of Freemasonry fraternity at Corinthian Lodge #178. He is also a member of the University of Manitoba's Young Associates.
